Whether you are a couple-or individual-seeking a far more rewarding intimate relationship than you are having right now, I can help. I've helped many couples and individuals through the most difficult problems of an intimate relationship, and I can help you too, with powerful guided experiences that will bring you closer to your partner, and closer to yourself, will promote far greater awareness of your needs and those of your partner, and how to get them met. This applies equally well to any kind of relationship, be it in family, with friends or at work. I also offer Discernment Counseling, a pre-couple-therapy protocol to help couples decide if they want to engage in actual therapy or not, for couples where one is "leaning out" of the relationship, and the other is "leaning in." Discernment Counseling can save everyone a lot of time and money and can get actual therapy off to a strong start. I strive to help couples move from pain and fear to hope and trust in the power of a solid intimate relationship. Living in a painful relationship is among the most difficult things a person can go through. Let's change that. Let's get started on a path toward emotional health, growth and the gratification in relationships that we all not only deserve, but must have, for our very sanity.

I work with individuals ages 14 and up, couples, and families. I help couples find a way to easier and effortless communication, while getting out of old hurtful patterns that aren’t good for either one. I have a lot of experience working with parents and their child or children, relationships that can also be fraught with ineffective and old patterns; even families experiencing estrangements. I also have experience with families or couples where one has a chronic illness and the accompanying difficulties. I support individuals and couples through difficult life transitions and journeys. I have a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. My office is comfortable and accessible on Wilshire close to Doheny in Beverly Hills. I can be contacted by phone, through my web site, and my Facebook page at Therapy with Terri. I'd like the opportunity to make your life and relationships better.
