Amy DiNoble, Ph.D. utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that promotes wellness by facilitating connections between the brain, mind and relationships. In therapy, she employs the concepts based in attachment theory and mindfulness to help people increase their feelings of security and wellness. Her studies in the area of psychology began at UCLA where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Science with studies in psychobiology and neuroscience. While in graduate school, Dr. DiNoble began studying interpersonal neurobiology with Dr. Daniel Siegel and found this specific area of study to be her passion as it so artfully intertwined her primary areas of interest, the brain, mind and relationships. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 50800) and an AACAST Certified Couples and Sex Therapist. I offer a warm, honest partnership for anyone who is struggling emotionally and I work with individuals, couples, families and teens. People come in feeling alone in some way: overwhelmed, unfulfilled, blocked or convinced that everyone else in the world is different from them. Or, maybe they are grieving the break-up of a relationship, marriage, or the death of someone close. Feeling alone in your pain is often the worst part. I jump into the struggle wholeheartedly, offering myself as a partner in the process. I bring care, curiosity and a particular kind of directness that comes easily to me, especially when working with couples. I want to help you get what you came to therapy for: another perspective in the room, new insight, and the possibility of real change. As an AACAST Certified Couples and Sex Therapist, I will guide you to listen to one another in a way that you may have never thought possible.

My extensive training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) is a natural fit with my AACAST training. SP is a trauma informed modality that works directly with the body and nervous system to find organic ways that the body and mind can come back into a sense of balance. It’s a powerful modality for both individuals and couples. Additionally, utilizing my second Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from University of Santa Monica, the level of spirit can also be brought forward to support your growth and ability to thrive.
