Sharon Kane, MFT believes passionately in the power of the therapeutic relationship. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she knows that training, experience and expertise are essential for a therapist, but it is ultimately the personal chemistry between therapist and client that determines the success of any treatment. Sharon encourages clients to explore the past, and as emotional issues surface she utilizes somatic techniques to reduce the effects of anxiety, depression and trauma that wreak havoc on the nervous system. Sharon also works to increase cognitive awareness and build better positive communication skills to help with life outside the therapy office. Sharon works with individuals, couples and teens and has completed training in couples and sex therapy through AACAST. Sharon works extensively with Emerging Adults (ages 18-35) as they navigate relationships and self-awareness, and offers a reduced fee to make counseling available.
